Flatten Warped Records with the ORB DF-01I

Using our ORB DF-01I, we can now flatten and remove warps from discs that would otherwise be unplayable.

The Orb Disc Flattener uses a unique heating method with two semiconductor heater films—one on the top and one on the bottom. By carefully controlling the heating and cooling phases, warped records are allowed to relax and return to their original flat state.

Importantly, only the outer edge and centre of the record are heated; the grooves remain untouched, preserving their sonic integrity.

The full process takes four hours: two to heat up, and two to cool down.

Pricing: $8 per 12” disc (4 hours). Discounts are available for bulk flattening.
