Anterior’ marks the first vinyl release from young Melbourne based production duo Cheap Present, made up of solo artists Luis CL (formerly releasing on Zanzibar Channel) and E.NV. Mostly recorded live in the studio with minimal overdubs, the pair will release their new mini LP late September on Superconscious, the label ran by Melbourne dance producers and DJ’s Fantastic Man and Francis Inferno Orchestra, where they’ll join an eclectic roster of artists from Australia and abroad (such as Andras, Mount Liberation Unlimited & more). Cheap Present formed in 2013 and have previously released as Glamouratz (alongside 2 other members) on the ace german label putting out music from Samo DJ, Baba Stiltz and more - Public Possession. Their new release follows a series of cassette releases on This Thing and Confort35 Tapes. This six-track mini LP showcases further the duo’s versatility, effortlessly combining sounds inspired by early Chicago House, Post Punk and New Wave
